Bentley Is Here!

Yay! We are so happy to announce the arrival of Bentley Coupe Clements. He was born February 12th at 9:38 AM weighing in at 7lbs. 8oz. and measuring 19 1/2" long. He came into this world with a nickname in tow. We call him "Piglet" because for the first 36 hours of his life he grunted like a little pig lol. The grunting has since stopped, but he has the appetite of a little pig. Rykkar loves his little brother. He especially likes to point out the fact that Bentley has eyes, a nose, ears, a mouth, and even hair just like him. He also enjoys giving baby brother high fives and knuckles. Bentley loves to gaze at Daddy and grin at him. He also trys to copy his mouth movements. Bentley loves his mommy and the fact that she can satisfy his hearty appetite. Mommy is astounded that such a little baby can eat and poop so much. Apparently breast fed babies like to eat 24/7 and they poop like it is going out of style. I think I change atleast 13 poopy diapers a day. All in all we are doing very well. We moved into our house and are enjoying the new found space with our slightly larger family. Here are some pictures of Bentley at 5 days old. We will post more later. We hope the states are treating everyone well. Germany is beautiful, snowy, and very cold. We love you all!

Bentley's Scheduled Arrival

So we went to the doctor on Friday the 6th, and we got to schedule the c section for the arrival of Bentley Coupe. We will arrive at the hospital Wednesday, the 11th, and I will stay over night to be monitored. And then they will do the c section Thursday morning. So his birthday will be February 12th. I will stay in the hospital for 3-4 days, depending on how I feel. I just thought I would update everyone on when we expect our little bundle of joy. We will let you know when he is finally here and how things went.

German Pizza

Yummy.... I just wanted to let everyone know about my latest indulgence. Ever since we arrived in Germany I think we have ordered pizza at least 2 times a week. It is beyond amazing. You could call it a little slice of heaven. The pizza here is completely different than in the states. Because I'm not really a pizza person. The pizza that we get has marinara sauce, cheese, ham, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, and pepperchini. It's not just the ingredients that can be a bit unusual it's that the ingredients are so fresh. The meats that they use aren't all prepackaged like Pizza Hut for example. The vegetables are especially fresh. The marinara they use has to be an old family recipe, it's sweet and tangy. And they don't use very much cheese, just enough. And the dough is cooked just to a golden brown. The best part about the pizza is that it's not greasy in the slightest. No grease what so ever. Even Rykkar loves the pizza, and that's saying a lot seeing as the kid never eats because he's so picky...... But that's for another post. Anyone who comes to visit us will get to try this pizza so start booking flights. Hope to see you all soon.
